No, you didn’t. And that’s because if you’re a doctor and you take care of sick kids—in some cases, REALLY sick kids—then you are a frickin’ AMAZING human being. Full stop.
We know, we’ve had the honor of working with the doctors at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals for the past couple of years. Smart, caring, hardworking doesn’t even scratch the surface. I mean, just take a look at the short films we’ve made.
To wit, we set up a little TLC fund to take care of these doctors (and actually, also the nurses and the families and the kids, too). Small things: warm meals on long nights, foot massages after the third shift in two days, flowers, that kind of thing. Not the stuff that changes the world; just a way to say thank you to people who deal with stuff the rest of us cannot even begin to imagine.
Paul, break it on down…
To recap: You guys make a small donation, we match the first $15,000, and a whole bunch of sick kids and the people who love and care for them feel a tiny bit better. It feels good just typing it.
Go on, get crazy.
