Parents, am I right?

Hoo-boy! Parenting can be a tough gig. But when your kids are sick—not sniffles sick, but SICK sick—well, it doesn’t get much worse than that.

That’s why we decided to eschew the typical company anniversary shenanigans in lieu of something more meaningful: helping parents with sick kids.

For the past couple of years, we’ve been working with UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals. We’ve gotten to meet some of these parents. Like Manai’s mom and dad. Seriously, we can’t even.

Anyway, to cut to the chase: We set up a TLC fund to help take care of the parents (and their kids, and their doctors and nurses, too). If you’re inclined to donate to it, we’ll match your contribution up to $15,000 total. It’s not a lot, but it sure seems like a better way to spend our anniversary than drinking the cheap beer we were going to buy. Paul can tell you more…

That’s it. You will get that warm fuzzy feeling inside of two minutes. Four minutes, tops. Guaranteed. Sort of.

Great Scott! So far we’ve raised a whopping $11,110.
